The High Performance Research Group focuses on high performance hardware implementations to increase performance of computationally intensive applications.  Leveraging on our experience in the CPU, GPU, and FPGA domains, HiPer Group develops creative solutions and new hardware/software approaches through research to solve a variety of computationally challenging problems.  In addition, the techniques are incorporated by faculty in courses, and as a result RIT was named a CUDA Teaching Center and CUDA Research Center.
